2026-2027 Academic Catalog

Transfer Students

Students who have completed college-level coursework after graduating from high school and prior to enrolling at Randolph-Macon College are considered transfer applicants.

Transfer applicants must meet the general requirements for admission and submit official transcripts from all colleges or universities previously attended, as well as an official secondary school transcript.

Admission consideration requires a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 on all prior college coursework. Applicants must also provide a Dean of Students’ (or equivalent) certification confirming good disciplinary standing at their most recently attended institution and must be eligible to return to that institution at the time of enrollment.

Transfer students may apply online at www.rmc.edu/apply. Students are encouraged to apply as early as possible for fall or spring entry and should refer to the application plans and deadlines published on the Admissions website.

The evaluation, awarding, and application of transfer and external academic credit are governed by the College’s Transfer and External Academic Credit Policy. Students are encouraged to submit official transcripts and any supporting materials as early as possible to facilitate timely evaluation.

Exceptions to admissions requirements must be approved by the Committee on Academic Policies.
