Early Decision

Students who are certain they want to attend Randolph-Macon may wish to take advantage of Early Decision, a binding admission plan. Under this plan, the student must submit an application for admission, high school transcript, letter of recommendation (optional), standardized test scores (optional) and the Early Decision Agreement form by the fall deadline. The student may apply to other colleges, but not under any other Early Decision Plan. If accepted and provided adequate financial assistance, the applicant agrees to withdraw all applications submitted to other institutions, file no additional applications, and commit to RMC by paying a non-refundable enrollment deposit of $400.

Under the Early Decision Plan, the College agrees to render a decision on admission on a rolling basis starting mid-September but no later than late November. The student agrees to submit their enrollment deposit within two weeks of receipt of admission and financial aid and no later than mid-December.
