Randolph-Macon College values globalism and diversity on campus. To that end, we seek applications from talented students from around the world. Applications for the fall semester are due by May 15. All applicants must send a completed application for admission, essay, secondary school transcript, TOEFL, IELTS, or Duolingo scores (if applicable), and letter of recommendation (optional).
For non-native English speakers, we require a minimum TOEFL score of 80 on the Internet-based test or 550 on the paper-based test, or a 6.5 on the IELTS, or a minimum score of a 105 on the Duolingo exam, or 500 in both reading and writing on the SAT, or a score of 20 in reading, English, and writing on the ACT with an overall score of 22.
International applicants must provide a certified translation of all documents not originally written in English. Please refer to the Admissions website for additional details. Students enrolling through our partnership with the Davis United World College Scholars Program are not typically required to submit this supplementary evaluation.
All international applicants are required to submit a Statement of Financial Support (form found on Admissions website) as well as original bank statements providing verification of a student’s ability to finance a Randolph-Macon education. International applicants are also encouraged to complete and submit the College Board’s International Financial Aid Application.
Once an applicant has been accepted and the Statement of Financial Support has been received, approved by the Admissions Office, and the enrollment deposit of $400 has been received, the I-20 document will be released. This form allows accepted international students to obtain an F-1 student visa.
