Asia plays an increasingly central role in shaping the global landscape—politically, economically, and culturally. An Asian Studies major offers students the tools to engage meaningfully with this vital region through an interdisciplinary curriculum spanning language, popular culture, religion, art, society, and history, among others. Graduates pursue careers in journalism, public policy, education, government, international business, and beyond. The program is further enriched by study-abroad opportunities, including January term travel courses, exchange partnerships with institutions such as Kansai Gaidai in Japan, and participation in ISEP programs around the world.
