Students who major in Education are required to complete a second major in their content area: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Math, History, Political Science, English, Music (Choral or Instrumental Pedagogy emphasis), Hispanic Studies (Spanish), or Classics (Latin). Each content area major will require specific courses for a teaching license in Virginia. Students will work with the Education Coordinator and their content area advisor to ensure satisfactory completion of their majors and their teaching license requirements.
